Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll administration experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage & hour regulations, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with payroll software systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Maintain payroll records, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits.
• Review timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policies.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Coordinate payroll activities with HR, Finance, and department managers.
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and audits.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and payroll procedures.
