Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Wisconsin is hiring for a payroll specialist to manage weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple states and FEINs. The role trains with HR and Store Operations to resolve discrepancies and ensures accurate tax payments and year-end reporting.

Benefits become available after 91 days of full-time employment. The position requires a high school diploma with preferred associates in accounting/payroll and multi-state tax experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in accounting/payroll certifications preferred.
• Multi-state/multi-Fein tax experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process end to end weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for associates across more than 45 locations and 15 FEINs.
• Audit, balance, and correct new hire data and payroll time records.
• Work closely with HR and Store Operations to resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities and answer associate questions.
• Process child support orders, levies, and garnishments, including payments to creditors.
• Submit Tax Payments and file quarterly & year-end returns, including W-2s.
• Audit payroll processing tasks according to our audit checklists.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree in accounting/payroll certifications
