Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking a Payroll Specialist to maintain and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for associates across multiple states. You will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, review timesheets, and distribute pay to staff.

Responsibilities include auditing payroll data, resolving discrepancies with HR, processing child support orders and garnishments, and preparing tax payments and year-end returns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in accounting/payroll certifications preferred.
• Multi-state/multi-Fein tax experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll systems and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple states and FEINs in compliance with federal and state regulations (IRS, FLSA, etc.).
• Review and upload timesheet information, enter data into the payroll system, calculate pay, and distribute funds to associates.
• Audit, balance, and correct new hire data and payroll time records; resolve payroll discrepancies with HR and Store Operations.
