Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet (Blain Supply, Inc.) is seeking a payroll specialist to manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple states. You will handle timesheet data, post payments, and ensure compliance with IRS, FLSA, and state regulations.

Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll for 45+ locations, auditing data quality, resolving discrepancies with HR, and processing garnishments and tax payments. A high school diploma is required with payroll experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in accounting/payroll certifications preferred.
• Multi-state/multi-Fein tax experience is preferred.

• Audit, balance, and correct new hire data and payroll time records.
• Work closely with HR and Store Operations to resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities and answer associate questions.

• Submit Tax Payments and file quarterly & year-end returns, including W-2s.
• Audit payroll processing tasks according to our audit checklists.

Compensation

• Base pay starting between $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Duties

This role is responsible for maintaining payroll systems and processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple states & FEINs in compliance with federal and state regulations (IRS, FLSA, etc.). Duties include reviewing and uploading timesheet information from various systems, entering data into the payroll system, calculating pay, and distributing funds to associates.
