Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will support accurate and timely processing of the company's biweekly multi-state payroll, maintain records, and assist with audits, reporting, and year-end activities.

You will collect, review, enter, and validate payroll data, review time records, and respond to payroll questions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. A hybrid work environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 5–7 years of payroll administration experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, timekeeping, and tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly multi-state payroll accurately and on time.
• Collect, review, enter, and validate payroll data and changes.
• Review time records and address missing or inaccurate entries.
• Respond to payroll questions and resolve discrepancies with leadership.
• Audit payroll data, assist with reconciliations and year-end tasks.
• Support payroll for offboarding, year-end processing, and audits.
