• High School Diploma or GED and 5 years' prior payroll experience.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, including union payrolls and certified payrolls.
• Knowledgeable in Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Self-starter and deadline oriented.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills; confidentiality.
• Paycor or Vista experience a plus.
• FPC or CPP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt workforce across multiple FEINs.
• Manage multi-state and local payroll taxes setup, calculation, and notices.
• Verify new hires in the payroll system and enter required payroll data.
• Maintain co-worker payroll records.
• Audit timekeeping for compliance with standards and union requirements.
• Enter time data for jobs when necessary.
• Pay co-workers according to payroll cycle.
• Process check adjustments and shortages.
• Verify vacation, sick, and holiday pay.
• Comply with overtime, prevailing wage, and union rates.
• Process unemployment, certified payrolls, garnishments, and related reports.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement.
