CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Payroll Practitioner II to manage a high-volume, multi-state payroll function from our Cleveland, OH location. You will audit new-hire setups, maintain payroll records, and ensure timely timecard accuracy for biweekly processing.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Minimum 1 year payroll or accounting experience, preferred.
• FPC designation, preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Workday preferred.
• Excellent prioritization, time management and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly audits to ensure accurate set up of all new hires.
• Maintain employee payroll records; ensure changes are entered correctly and timely.
• Utilize reports to follow up with employees and managers for complete timecards.
• Assist employees and managers in reviewing, editing, and approving timecards; provide training as needed.
• Perform routine data entry; complete all employment verifications and wage requests.
• Respond promptly to payroll inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Assist Payroll Practitioner III with high-volume biweekly payroll processing.
• Maintain confidentiality.
