Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience required.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Union payroll experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of payroll compliance, garnishments, benefits, and 401(k) administration.
• Experience using payroll software.
• iSolved experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support semi-monthly payroll processing for non-union employees.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing for assigned union employees during training and transition.
• Maintain accurate employee and payroll records within payroll and ERP systems.
• Process payroll changes for new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and pay rate changes.
• Review payroll information for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner.
• Help ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met.
• Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance.
• Process and maintain records for garnishments, tax levies, unemployment claims, and other payroll notices.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
• Support payroll operations across multiple business units and states.
