Job summary

Northeast Alternatives is hiring a Director of Retail Operations to oversee multi-state locations and drive revenue, profitability, and KPI performance. You will coach Store Managers and centralized leaders, ensuring a consistent, best-in-class customer experience across Massachusetts, Michigan, and New Jersey.

This hands-on, field-facing role requires building A+ teams, implementing promotions, and maintaining menu parity while upholding strict compliance.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive multi-unit retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading Store Managers and centralized retail leaders to achieve KPIs.
• Strong experience with P&L management, labor planning, and performance improvement.
• Cannabis retail experience strongly preferred; highly regulated or high-volume retail experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue, profitability, payroll, margin, traffic, and KPI performance for every retail location.
• Lead, coach, and hold Store Managers and centralized retail leaders accountable for measurable results.
• Develop location-specific sales and promotional plans based on revenue goals, inventory, and seasonality.
• Establish and maintain operating standards, compliance, and audit-ready practices across all locations.
