Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a Harvest Floor Operator for its Mansfield, OH facility. The role involves hands-on processing across beef, pork, lamb, and goat, with emphasis on safe, humane handling and efficient workflow on a five-day schedule.

Candidates should have experience on harvest floors or in meat processing, be physically capable, and able to read, write, and communicate in English. Pay ranges up to $30/hour based on experience and ground-floor readiness.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of harvest floor, slaughter, or meat processing experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of the harvest process including stunning, bleeding, skinning, eviscerating, splitting, and trimming
• Handle livestock humanely and in accordance with all animal welfare requirements
• Trim, wash, and weigh carcasses to meet quality and compliance standards
• Maintain knife sharpness and keep harvest floor equipment in proper working condition throughout the shift
• Keep workstations, walls, equipment, and the harvest floor clean and sanitized at all times
• Follow all HACCP protocols and food safety requirements without exception
• Support barn duties including weighing, feeding, and watering livestock as skills develop
• Assist with general sanitation and end-of-shift cleanup procedures
