Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN seeks a Multi-skilled Technician to support nursing staff under an RN. You will perform basic patient care tasks, including EKGs, phlebotomy, glucose checks, and assistance with daily living activities, following training and competency guidelines.

Daily Pay is offered. Education should include high school level coursework; CPR is required or obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, and spell English proficiently.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• EKG and Phlebotomy training/competency completed.

Responsibilities

• Take blood glucose measurements and record intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Perform ordered EKGs and phlebotomy duties per policy.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
• Attend in-services and participate in performance improvement activities.
