Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician under the supervision of an RN to perform basic patient care activities, including taking blood glucose, assisting with activities of daily living, and routine monitoring. This role supports our mission to deliver high-quality care.

Education includes a high school diploma; CPR within 60 days; EKG and Phlebotomy training on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification within 60 days.
• EKG and Phlebotomy training on hire or transfer.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take blood glucose measurements as ordered.
• Record intake and output for assigned patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Perform EKGs and Phlebotomy duties as trained and competent.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Attend required in-services, workshops and staff meetings.
