Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to assist with basic patient care under RN supervision, including EKGs and phlebotomy. You will help ensure rooms are stocked and maintained, and contribute to a safe patient environment.

The role supports a mission of quality care, with on-site shift patterns and non-mandatory overtime. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Education level equivalent to completion of high school.
• Ability to read, write, and spell English and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Take blood glucose measurements, record intake/output, assist with ADLs.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy per policy and training.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Attend required in-services and participate in performance improvement.
