Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System, part of the Trinity Health family in Mishawaka, Indiana, seeks a Multi-skilled Technician to support RN staff in delivering patient care during the 12-hour night shift. You will perform basic care tasks, take vitals, assist with daily living activities, and help with EKGs and blood draws as trained.

Education requirements are a high school diploma with CPR and competency on hire. Prior patient care exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education level: high school or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and spell English and perform simple arithmetic.
• Licensure: CPR certification on hire or within 60 days; EKG and Phlebotomy training completed on hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Take blood glucose measurements, record intake/output, assist with ADLs.
• Perform EKGs and Phlebotomy as trained and approved.
• Keep patient areas stocked and clean; participate in required trainings.
