Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician under RN supervision to perform basic patient care tasks, assist with activities of daily living, and execute EKGs and phlebotomy per training.

Education typically requires a high school diploma; CPR certification is required within 60 days of hire. Prior patient care experience is preferred and ongoing in-services are provided.

Qualifications

• High school level education or equivalent.
• Read, write, and spell English; perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Take blood glucose, record intake/output, assist with ADLs.
• Perform EKGs according to policy and training; perform Phlebotomy per training.
• Keep patient rooms stocked and clean; attend required trainings and meetings.
