Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.
• 2 years of experience in commercial, industrial or hospital maintenance or completion of the Ochsner Apprenticeship program.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing items within hospital/clinic settings.
• Respond to and repair specialty systems (nurse call, fire alarm, medical gas, etc.) and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols, document work, and be available for on‑call emergencies as needed.
