Incumbents are essential personnel who may supervise others, report to federal/state supervisors, and may require overtime or travel.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in maintenance or mechanical work under supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret facility plans and blueprints.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Familiar with and able to use commonly utilized software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, semi-skilled maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and other facility services.
• Perform general grounds and facilities maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and moving equipment.
• Troubleshoot facility, equipment, and machinery problems and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise subordinates as directed and coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site.
