Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of MEP systems at our properties in Richardson, TX. The role encompasses rounds, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to keep facilities safe, clean, and functional.

You will work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing components and building automation, applying safety standards and C&W protocols. The position may require shift work and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; apprentice/trade program preferred.
• Licensure or permits as required (e.g., Journeyman/Master Electrician, Refrigeration License, etc.).
• Experience with energy management systems and building automation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements for buildings.
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical and pneumatic equipment and control systems to ensure comfort.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety, compliance with codes and company procedures.
• Document activities and communicate with supervisor.
