Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead safety initiatives across multiple sites in Texas. You will pair hands‑on safety management with strategic thinking to protect associates while driving operational excellence.

As a WHS Lead, you will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, implement practical solutions, and lead audits to ensure compliance. The role requires 50–70% travel and the ability to partner with Operations leadership to embed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety experience
• Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS experience with mix of exempt/non‑exempt employees at sites ≥ 250 people
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program implementation across multiple sites and act as safety champion
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze incident trends
• Develop and monitor WHS metrics, audits, and compliance with policies
• Manage first aid program and emergency response capabilities
• Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations
• Travel 50–70% and work varied shifts to meet site needs
