Job summary

AvantStay is seeking a Senior Area Manager to supervise day-to-day operations across multiple property markets. You will lead small teams, coordinate maintenance and housekeeping, and travel frequently to market sites to ensure guest expectations are met.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in property management, 3+ years in people leadership, and strong vendor/homeowner liaison experience. Competitive base salary around $80k–$82.5k, plus annual bonus and equity, with robust benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience in multi-site locations.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with external stakeholders including vendors and homeowners.
• Excellent self-management skills and ability to prioritize to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Ability and availability to work weekends, holidays, and with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to stand, walk, and drive to properties; able to lift more than 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple markets consisting of teams of 1–10 employees.
• Direct and delegate responsibilities to local market team members.
• Serve as main contact to establish and cultivate relationships with property owners and keep them apprised of status.
• Supervise and rectify guest/homeowner issues, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks across properties.
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping operations.
• Carry out essential administrative duties and assign tasks to staff.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure AvantStay standards and regulations.
• Be part of rotating On Call after hours for market support.
