Job summary

AvantStay is seeking an Assistant Area Manager to support Area Manager in daily operations for designated properties. This role requires proximity to markets and frequent travel, with responsibilities including owner communications, staff supervision, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You will audit properties, manage supplies, and coordinate with internal departments to maintain AvantStay standards. The position demands flexibility, a hands-on presence in-market, and readiness for after-hours

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Vacation rental industry experience (preferred).
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint); Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Area Manager and fill in as market lead when needed.
• Communicate with property owners and coordinate with internal teams.
• Ensure owner satisfaction metrics are met and maintain AvantStay standards.
• Train and coach in-market staff and evaluate performance.
• Address guest and homeowner concerns promptly and follow up on resolutions.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintenance tasks and ensure inventory is stocked.
