Job summary

AvantStay is seeking an Area Manager to oversee daily operations of branded properties in the Hilton Head area. You will supervise market staff, cultivate owner relationships, and ensure guest satisfaction across multiple sites, working closely with maintenance and housekeeping teams.

You will travel frequently to properties, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with AvantStay standards while maintaining high service levels for guests and owners.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management with multi-site locations
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years in homeowner relations
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and flexible schedule
• Ability to drive between properties
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs
• Strong self-management and deadline-driven
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise market staff including hiring, training, coaching and evaluating performance
• Act as main contact to owners, communicate statements and property status
• Oversee resolution of guest and homeowner issues within set timeframes
• Meet AvantStay standards and owner satisfaction metrics
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance across properties
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate property operations
• Perform administrative tasks and assign team duties
• Ensure inventory levels of consumables and linens
• Inspect properties for compliance with standards
• Respond to guest/homeowner inquiries via email, calls, Slack and tickets
• Travel daily to properties to oversee operations and ensure compliance
• Be on call after hours for market support
