Job summary

Brookfield Properties Multifamily LLC is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple apartment communities in a dense market. You will lead property managers, manage budgets, and drive NOI while maintaining asset quality and customer service.

You will supervise 1–3 communities (and sometimes mixed‑use) and ensure compliance with policies. The role requires 8–10 years of supervisory PM experience, a Bachelor’s in Property Management, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Property Management required.
• High school diploma / GED preferred; Associate degree optional.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple sites and supervise property managers across communities.
• Lead annual operating budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Coordinate marketing, leasing approvals, and tenant relations.
• Manage move‑outs, inspections and asset maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with housing quality standards and company policies.
• Provide leadership coverage when managers are vacant.
