Job summary

PMR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee operations across multiple primary care clinics. This hands-on leader will manage day-to-day workflows, staffing, and performance, while collaborating with providers, operations, HR, and leadership.

The role requires clinical background (MA/CMA/LPN/RN or similar) and a proven track record in multi-site healthcare management. Travel between sites is required, with an initial hybrid arrangement and on-site presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of healthcare management or clinical leadership experience.
• Prior MA/CMA/LPN/RN or comparable direct patient-care role is required.
• Experience supervising clinical healthcare staff.
• Experience overseeing day-to-day operations in primary care or similar healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, coaching, and team development.
• Ability to travel between locations and support operations onsite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple primary care clinics.
• Ensure consistent workflows, staffing, patient flow, and standards.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop clinical and administrative staff.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, productivity, and clinic efficiency.
• Provide hands-on support during staffing shortages and high-volume periods.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management processes.
• Partner with providers and clinic teams to ensure resources and communication.
• Monitor performance, patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and audits.
• Conduct routine audits and ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective action and process improvements.
• Support new clinic openings, transitions, and service expansions.
• Maintain communication with providers, employees, clients, vendors, and leadership.
