Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Missouri seeks a Multi-Site Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, customer service, and efficient use of resources across sites.

You will lead and develop shift and staff, drive cost control, coordinate with sales and service, and advance continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related plant management experience; or equivalent combination of education and related plant management experience is required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in an operations supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.
• Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understands, follows and enforces safety, health, quality GMP and company policies and procedures.
• Leads plant safety initiatives and safety training programs.
• Leads plant quality initiatives and corrective actions from customer or internal complaints.
• Oversees selection, training, and development of shift and staff personnel.
• Directs manufacturing operations to keep costs within budgetary standards.
• Maintains relations with customers and identifies improvements and cost reductions.
• Oversees production planning to meet customer requirements.
• Drives continuous improvement plans using operations excellence tools across departments.
• Promotes open door and team-building environment.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
