Job summary

Labcorp in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of Labcorp in a client office, providing exceptional service across all patient interactions.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, a high school diploma, and a certification or training background. Opportunities for growth and participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
