The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ability to work independently or in a team, and flexibility to cover additional sites. Phlebotomy certification or training is preferred, bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency preferred.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; flexible with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
