Job summary

Labcorp in Fountain Hills, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our client office team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect specimens for screens, and enter patient data accurately while providing exceptional service to patients.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally phlebotomy certification or training with some experience. You may travel to additional sites as needed and participate in the company's incentive plans.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
