Job summary

Labcorp in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our Patient Service Center. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of Labcorp.

The role requires a High school diploma, 1+ year phlebotomy experience; preferred 3+ years in coordinator role, certification, bilingual English/Spanish, and prior Labcorp experience. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with occasional overtime and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a phlebotomist.
• 3+ years in coordinator or lead role preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors.
• Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity reports and report deviations as necessary.
• Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner.
• Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
