Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Float Pharmacy Technician to support the Tucson mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

The role covers all 12 Tucson sites, with hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Arizona tech license or trainee permit required; bilingual and national certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Active AZ Pharmacy Technician license or Trainee license or ability to obtain within 60 days
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
• Ability to cover all 12 sites in the Tucson area
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to cover all 12 sites in the Tucson area
• Other duties as assigned
