Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Senior Float Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty prescriptions. The role dispenses medications, performs clerical tasks, and covers 30 Phoenix sites under pharmacist supervision.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with home-site at 1515 E Osborn Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Requires AZ license and 1+ year data entry experience; travel across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona.
• 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area to cover PTO and callouts as needed.
• Ability to work office hours Monday through Friday 7:30am-5:00pm.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records.
• Assists the Pharmacist and ensures compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area.
