Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the Payson, AZ mental health pharmacy. The role focuses on dispensing prescriptions and handling clerical tasks under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Candidates must have AZ Pharmacy Technician license (or trainee) and be able to obtain within 60 days.

Part-time, 32 hours weekly, with potential to flex up to 40 hours. 8-hour shifts, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Active AZ Pharmacy Technician license or AZ Trainee license, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
