Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Senior Float Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role covers PTO and callouts across 30 Phoenix locations.

The position requires an Arizona license, 1+ year data entry experience, and willingness to cover office hours Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
• 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area to cover PTO and callouts as needed.
• Ability to work office hours Monday through Friday between 7:30am-5:00pm.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area.
• Other duties as assigned.
