Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC, based in Pendleton, IN, seeks an Operations Training & Development Specialist to lead company-wide learning programs ensuring safe operations and competency. You will partner with Operations, Safety, HR, Quality, Transportation, and leaders to establish curricula, standards, and assessments.

Travel up to 40% is required; visa sponsorship is not offered. The role supports supervisory development, cross-training, and leadership initiatives across multiple sites, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Associate degree or greater in Training & Development, Education, Manufacturing, Operations, Safety, Quality, Business, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Minimum 2 years of professional training, learning and development, quality, safety, or operational training in manufacturing/session environment.
• Experience assessing training needs and developing structured training programs, materials, assessments, or competency tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and independently recommend priorities and solutions.
• Design, develop, implement, and improve standardized training programs and curricula.
• Determine appropriate learning methods based on objectives, audience, risk, and needs.
• Collaborate with leaders to review and improve cGMPs, work instructions, and training content.
• DevelopTrain-the-Trainer program including criteria, standards, coaching, and assessments.
• Deliver classroom, field-based, and hands-on training and evaluate understanding.
