Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC in Pendleton, IN, seeks an Operations Training & Development Specialist to assess training needs and independently develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide learning programs ensuring safe operations and consistent work practices.

The role collaborates with Operations, Safety, HR, Quality, Transportation and Plant Leadership to establish curricula, standards, and Train-the-Trainer programs across multiple locations with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher education in training, development, manufacturing, safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in professional training, learning and development or related roles in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience with assessing training needs and developing structured training programs.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching and writing skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations as required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with LMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational and site training needs and set priorities.
• Design, develop, implement and improve training programs and curricula.
• Determine delivery methods (live, online, blended) based on objectives and risks.
• Collaborate with operations, safety, HR, quality and leadership to ensure content aligns with standards.
• Develop Train-the-Trainer programs and evaluation methods.
• Deliver training and evaluate understanding through assessments and observations.
• Create learning paths for new hires and promotions.
• Develop LMS tracking and visualization dashboards for leadership.
