Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit seeks a Multi Site Officer to help maintain a secure environment in Dekalb, IL. The role includes access control, patrolling multiple sites, and enforcing site regulations for personnel and visitors. The position is full-time with a wage range of $21.00–$22.00 per hour.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to stay calm during emergencies. Driver certification and flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Driver certified and available for 3rd shift plus one other shift.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift and conduct property tours.
• Carry out tasks similar in scope to assigned site duties.

TheMulti Site Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver certified.
• Must be available to work 3rd shift and one other shift - open availability preferred.
