Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time position in Dekalb, IL. The role involves maintaining a safe environment by monitoring premises, managing access control, and patrolling various locations during assigned shifts.

You will enforce regulations, provide customer service to employees and guests, and report safety issues while using technology throughout your shift. A strong focus on de-escalation and vigilance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 18 years of age or older
• Above average computer/technology skills

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
