Job summary

Orion Castings, a leading North American die-cast and machined components provider, seeks an experienced HR Manager for Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations. You will partner with plant leadership to drive business results, oversee employee relations, recruitment, performance, compensation, benefits, and compliance across sites.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing HR experience, strong communication and data-driven decision making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Manager role.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and/or multi-state operations; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Partner with plant leadership to support operational and workforce objectives.
• Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, negotiation, analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR Manager for multiple manufacturing locations in MA/NH.
• Partner with Plant Manager to develop and execute workforce strategies.
• Lead employee relations activities including investigations and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Manage performance processes, development plans, and succession planning.
• Coach managers on leadership, engagement and organizational changes.
• Administer compensation programs, wage recommendations and promotions.
• Support benefits, FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' comp and state leaves.
