Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multiple residential locations, perform routine and preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, functional environments for individuals and staff.

You will troubleshoot issues across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic HVAC, with an on-call rotation and travel between locations using a company vehicle. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of facilities or building maintenance experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple locations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across multiple residential locations.
• Complete preventative maintenance to keep buildings and systems operating efficiently.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours on-call rotation.
• Travel between Beacon locations using a company-provided vehicle.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.
• Document repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
• Communicate repair priorities and project updates to leadership.
