Job summary

Community First Solutions is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician II to support maintenance operations at two Mason facilities. The role covers preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, plus troubleshooting and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.

Travel between the two Mason sites is required, and the team will include mentoring Maintenance Technician I staff. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of maintenance-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Intermediate knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read operating manuals and blueprints.
• Independent and team work capability.
• Basic computer skills including email.
• Ability to use iPhone and computerized work order system.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and electronic issues.
• Repair and replace equipment and fixtures; repair PVC plumbing and toilets.
• Travel between two Mason facilities for projects and work orders.
• Operate power tools and maintenance equipment; manage work orders in the system.
• Provide on-the-job training to Maintenance Technician I staff.
