Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff across assigned properties in New Jersey. You will manage repairs, preventive maintenance, and make-readies while ensuring safety and adherence to company standards.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other trades, supervise technicians, coordinate with the Property Manager, and uphold timely maintenance and cleanliness of communities. On-call and travel between sites required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training certifications a plus.
• Three years of oversight of Maintenance Buildings and team members.
• Requires valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
• Company-provided EPA certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily administrative tasks and coordinate with PM, Support Center, and team members.
• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed promptly using the maintenance app.
• Lead maintenance staff in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, and vacant units per guidelines; hands-on painting and cleaning.
• Oversee make-ready process for leasing; schedule vendors and inspections; complete tasks within five business days of move-out.
• Prepare and participate in monthly preventative maintenance; ensure readiness for inspections.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and supervisors; participate in training programs.
