Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily functions of material handling and maintenance for multi-site facilities. You will ensure a safety-first culture and oversee planning, scheduling, and performance of the team.

You will also drive continuous improvement, coordinate hiring/training, and manage staffing levels while engaging with the client and operations teams to deliver reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil).
• 4+ years leading and coaching employees in a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years of preventive/predictive maintenance experience.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Proficient with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily material handling and maintenance across multi-site facilities.
• Plan, schedule and advise work; evaluate quality of work.
• Coordinate teams maintaining high-speed conveyance systems.
• Support hiring, training, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Develop work standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor staffing and overtime; model CBRE values.
• Build positive relationships with client and operations teams.
