Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in the CBRE Global Workplace Solutions division is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily operations across multi-site facilities.

You will oversee safety-first maintenance of material handling systems and manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliable service for our client operations. The role emphasizes people leadership, process improvement, and alignment with CBRE values, including staffing, training, and performance management to drive top-tier facility performance

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture ensuring employees return home safely.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees and evaluate quality.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high-speed conveyance systems and other equipment.
• Assist Managers in communicating departmental goals and objectives.
• Participate with Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and performance actions.
• Disseminate work standards and procedures.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide performance management for team development.
• Plan staffing levels and labor utilization, including overtime.
• Lead by example and model CBRE values.
• Cultivate positive relationships with client and operations teams.

About the Role

In this role you will lead daily functions of material handling operations and maintenance for multi-site facilities and ensure safe working environments.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a safety-first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same condition in which they reported to work.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees and evaluate quality of work.
• Lead and coordinate the work of employees engaged in maintaining high speed conveyance systems and other manufacturing equipment.
• Assist Managers in communicating and accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.
• Participate in conjunction with Manager, interviewing/hiring, employee training, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and/or terminations.
• Formulate, disseminate, and communicate work standards and/or procedures.
• Coordinate and lead Root Cause and Corrective Actions to facilitate continuous improvement and development opportunities.
• Provide performance management for team development and growth.
• Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
