Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Floating Maintenance Manager to support three North Shore communities across Danvers area, traveling between properties. You will oversee daily maintenance, handle work orders, and manage turnover schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years in residential maintenance with supervisory experience, strong skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and smart-home tech, plus a valid driver's license. UDR offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years in residential property maintenance.
1–2 years in a supervisory or manager role.
Strong proficiency in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and smart-home technology.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with managers, residents, and vendors.
Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
HVAC/EPA Type II or Universal preferred; CPO a plus.

Responsibilities

Multi-Site Oversight: Manage daily maintenance operations, work orders, and turnover schedules.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor on-site maintenance technicians and porters.
Preventative Maintenance: Implement and monitor maintenance programs for efficiency.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and improvements.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to local codes and OSHA standards.
Emergency Response: Share on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
