Job summary

Audubon Property Management, LLC is seeking a reliable Floating Maintenance Technician to support a portfolio of five multifamily communities totaling approximately 889 residential units across Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. The technician will generally work at one assigned property for a period of time, with the work location potentially changing from week to week based on portfolio needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in property, building, facilities, or multifamily maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and residential appliances.
• Ability to diagnose problems, determine safe and effective solutions, and complete repairs.
• Willing to travel between MA and RI properties as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform general plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Complete apartment work orders, service requests, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support apartment turnovers, including painting, patching drywall, and surface repairs.
• Paint interiors and exteriors as needed; maintain appliances.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in on-call rotation.
