Job summary

JLL in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-site maintenance team and potentially supervise Area Maintenance Managers, ensuring a safe working environment for all.

You will develop preventive maintenance plans, manage budgets with site Finance, coordinate with Safety and Operations, and mentor staff to exceed goals while driving Kaizen and Lean initiatives. Travel up to 20% required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 5+ years in distribution or manufacturing with mechanical or electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site team of maintenance associates and possibly supervise Area Maintenance Managers; ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage outside contractors; be on call for emergencies.
• Handle multiple projects and daily activities; meet deadlines; develop and track plans.
• Work with site Safety leadership to implement and audit safety programs.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and relationships with operations leadership.
• Facilitate technical and safety training; support professional development of staff.
• Mentor maintenance associates; drive performance and goal attainment.
• Develop maintenance department business plans; guide implementation and budgeting with site Finance.
• Participate in Kaizen activities for site and network; cost analysis and cross-functional planning.
• Travel up to 20%.
