Job summary

JLL in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, model safety standards, and coordinate with onsite EHS to maintain a safe, productive environment.

You will oversee preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance, manage tickets and budgets, supervise contractors, and ensure inventory and site cleanliness while staying responsive to client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery, electrical systems, and controls.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance team members to develop skills and capabilities.
• Partner with EHS to ensure safety standards are met.
• Manage outside contractors and be on-call for emergencies.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and scheduling across the facility.
• Track tickets, budgets, and inventory; ensure cleanliness and cost control.
• Provide performance feedback and write appraisals as needed.
• Travel to support network needs.
