Job summary

Sunrise Management in San Diego is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all phases of property maintenance for a multi-family portfolio. This role includes scheduling, supervising staff, and ensuring safety programs are followed.

Key duties include preparing market-ready apartments after turnover, performing preventive maintenance, managing inventory, and coordinating with site management to keep communities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of property maintenance experience.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Directs all aspects of property maintenance, including preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Prepares or assists in preparing all market-ready apartments after turnover (3–5 days).
• Maintains accurate inventory control of tools, equipment and supplies and enforces PPE usage.
• Responds to maintenance requests quickly (within 24 hours) and notifies management if delays occur.
• Oversees safety programs and ensures compliance with life/safety requirements.
• Coordinates with Site Management to align maintenance with budget and capital plans.
