Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in San Diego to oversee maintenance staff and vendors, ensuring quality service and timely work order completion across our multifamily communities.

You will partner with the Community Manager to maintain safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction while managing resources, budgets, and preventive maintenance programs. On-call and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical and carpentry work.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff and vendors to ensure property upkeep and timely completion of work orders.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on resident move-ins, safety, and curb appeal.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and safety standards in accordance with regulations.
