Job summary

Vivmark Residential, formed by the merger of AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential, seeks a Portfolio Maintenance Manager in Seal Beach, CA. The role oversees maintenance across a diverse portfolio, leads on-site teams, and drives safety and efficiency while managing budgets and vendor performance.

You will collaborate with Community Managers, CapEx teams, and multiple departments to meet standards of asset preservation, resident satisfaction, and compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years managing multi-site property maintenance (1000+ units preferred).
Proven ability to lead on-site maintenance teams and budgets.
Experience with safety, OSHA, and building codes compliance.
Experience coordinating CapEx and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead regional maintenance and partner with Community Managers to set objectives.
Develop and monitor operating budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee preventative maintenance, vendor performance, and safety programs.
Conduct regular inspections and drive improvements based on surveys.
